Scatterbrained

Every so often I feel like I have so many things I want to do, so many ideas, that I don't know where to start.

I basically end up spinning my wheels and not getting anything accomplished at all.

I am definitely feeling that way right now.

I want to try recipes and crafts and learn to sew. I want to clean the house top to bottom and organize my pictures and delete all of those pointless emails once and for all. I want to find a job and a husband and make a new life for myself. I want to do everything.

Instead...I just...sit.

Any suggestions on picking a place to start?

  2. Always start with prayer and ask for direction. He will lead you to the first hurdle.

  3. I think it's the 4 month baby itch! I feel exactly the same way.

The little one is finally old enough to entertain herself. She doesn't require as much needy time. It sounds like you're just like me... spare time is confusing, (even though it's only an hour) and you want to fill that time with something!

I started with scrubbing the house from top to bottom. I don't think it's been done since August! Now I feel organized enough to enjoy doing a craft or reading a book... or look for a hubby ;)

I wish you the best of luck!

  4. Ruth-Sweet stuff! Although it looks like you have been a little distracted from updating :)

Mrs. Bailey-(sorry I don't know your name!)-Thank you for that.

Dana-It must be an itch! I find myself with little bits and pieces of time and I feel like there is so much on my to do list. I think I might take your suggestion, get the cleaning out of the way and then go from there!

  5. I am the same way! It's so hard to choose one specific thing where there is so much you want and need to get done!

(btw, I don't have any advice but I did feel like dropping by with a comment, and letting you know you're very much not alone)

    :)
