She Keeps On Fussing!

I don't know what to do.

  1. Awww, it will get better. I have been there so I can relate to how you feel. Is she fussing a lot during the day or at night? If she is fussing a lot during the day, maybe she is tired and need a nap. If she fusses a lot at night, it could be that she is overstimulated during the day and can't settle down on her own. Or some say that their babies go through a 2 month growth spurt so she could be extra hungry.

    Just my two cents. Hang in there!

  2. My Sammy was like that. And can still be a bit difficult to please at times. Sometimes taking him outside helped. The change of air and scenery made him quiet down for a bit. I would just get so frustrated and walk outside in my bare feet to get out of the house and he'd squinty his little eyes and quiet down and we'd just walk a little ways down the street until it stopped working.

    Also, he was pretty much attached to my boob alllll day during the two month mark. He liked to eat or just be nursing close to me.

    Good luck, lady.

  3. The poor thing fusses all the time, morning and night!

    I am sure part of it is tiredness. She isn't he best napper. Usually she only gets 2 naps of abou 30-45 minutes (that is a super rough really varies!)

    The stepping outside thing works for her too! i think the cool air shocks her!

    She has been nursing quite a bit. Often it seems like I am offering her the boob even when she "should" be full just to get her to quiet down. I have heard breastfed babies won't overeat at this age...I hope it is true!

  4. Aw...::hugs::

    Yeah, naps can be a tricky thing to tackle. You might have to get her on some type of nap routine. Lord knows Zakiah and I have battled this nap thing for a LONG time. She used to wake up from a nap after 30 minutes crying and hollering because she woke herself up from all the jerking around she used to do. I spent so much time trying to get her back to sleep. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Just have to go with the flow.

    Now that Zakiah got her crib yesterday, she has been fussy because she is not used to it yet. Now I feel like we are back at square one with this sleep thing. All I do know is that it won't last forever.

    Gemmma is probably going through a spurt. It usually lasts 3-4 days. As far as overeating, my guess is that as long as she is not spitting up like crazy after every meal then she is not overeating.
